Project outline

This was funded by Higher Level Stewardship funds (HLS) for the Birmingham & Black Country Wildlife Trust. The work was to de-silt ditches and ponds to improve conditions for a population of great crested newts. JPR also constructed a pond with bentonite liner to enhance the habitat with a particular reference to great crested newts.
