Project outline
The rainwater run off from this oil distribution depot had to be treated to ensure that no oil was washed out into the surrounding environment. The final stage of this cleaning was to run the water through a reedbed for polishing. JPR Environmental was asked to plant up the reedbed.
Services Provided
We planted 2,000 reeds at 6 per m2 in the pre-constructed bed. We also undertook other landscaping on site and planted 30 semi-mature trees plus a hedgerow, and seeded the soil areas with grass.
