Project outline

A 40,000m2 animal feed storage depot was constructed at Seaforth Docks and the rainwater run off had to be treated before release into the ecologically sensitive freshwater lagoon on the adjacent Seaforth Nature Reserve. WWT Consulting designed a twin level reedbed and JPR Environmental undertook the planting.

Services Provided

JPR Environmental planted over 10,000 reeds and aquatic plants in the 15 beds that made up the complex. We fenced each area to prevent excessive grazing in the first year and removed the fencing after 12 months
