The Martin Mere reserve of the Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust was expanded massively through the acquisition of about 60 hectares of land, 25 of which were landscaped to create a reedbed to the South of the existing reserve.
Services Provided
JPR Environmental planted almost 100,000 reeds in the newly landscaped reedbeds to kick start the vegetation on the site. The area has now matured and is the hunting ground of Hobbies and Marsh Harriers.
