Project outline

Great Crested Newts were found on this housing development site. Part of the mitigation plan specified the creation of a potential breeding pond a little way from the site for translocation.

Services Provided

JPR built and lined the pond with a butyl liner. The picture above shows the liner being tested - it was then covered with soil for planting. We also undertook the planting with wetland and marginal aquatics to create some cover for the translocated newts.
