The Wildlife Trust had identified an area to the edge of their Ravensroost Wood reserve, containing a small pond, that would greatly benefit local biodiversity if it were expanded. Funding was achieved to create a 1 hectare pond and channel to link with the existing pond. The Trust designed the new wetland and JPR Environmental undertook construction management of the project.

JPR marked out the site to the designs in preparation for the groundworks. We identified and instructed the groundwork contractors for the project and undertook day to day management of works while they were on site.
We arranged for the transport and disposal of over 50no. 20 tonne loads of spoil with the minimum disruption to the local environment.
